A new look is coming...

2020 has been a year for reflecting on many things. One of mine has been, "what do I want to do with the studio now and down the road?"

When we started having kids, I took everything down a notch with one group class and a handful of Private Sessions each week. I like it. It works. That plus Beautycounter is a good balance for me with the two boys at home. However, five years from now, I will have a lot more time on my hands. What do I want to do with the studio then?

Let's face it, this year has been hard for everyone. I've been coping with movement, self care, and turning this studio into a brand I LOVE. It is my light at the end of the tunnel. I imagine myself teaching a stunning candlelight class in the beautiful new studio space, seeing mamas come in week after week anxiously awaiting their babies, and seeing that sweet tiny baby when mama comes back after her 6 week appointment....no masks or social distancing worries. It brings me hope and propels me onward.

There are a few other reasons behind this upcoming re brand:

1. I am tired of saying "Glowing Oasis Pilates." I literally cringe saying it. It is cheesy and has so many syllables. I came up with the name in my college dorm room 10 years ago and it simply does not serve me anymore.

2. I want the name to fit the space. There will most likely be a new (bigger & better) studio space in a few years and the name I landed on fits it perfectly, as well as the cute space I teach now.

3. I want the name to allow me the freedom to hold other classes and events in the space other than Pilates. Workshops, Pop Ups, Dance Classes....whatever wellness related event I want.

Then the question was, do I wait to re-brand until this fancy new studio space is up and I'm teaching full time while the boys are in school? That could be five years from now. Does it even make sense to do this switch when I'm only teaching virtually?

After months of thought and sitting on the new name, I decided to go ahead and do behind the scenes work on the switch during this slow time, but once I saw that logo, I was in LOVE. I couldn't wait any longer.

Doing this brand change now will only allow the new name and "vibe" to be more solidified so that when the studio doors open back up, and when the new space does get built, and when the tiny humans are in school during the day, there will be a strong sense of what this studio is about. I am SO excited to share my "light at the end of the tunnel" with you. This studio is my first baby and your support means the world to me! Stay tuned...
